Saying it out loud is
so often the first step

About Marsha Benson

I have over 17 years of counselling experience working with those who need help dealing with relationship problems, abuse, depression, and many other areas that require the talking therapy.

I am a fully qualified counsellor with a diploma in Humanistic person-centred counselling as well as certificates in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Gestalt. I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and adhere to their code of ethics. I keep my skills and techniques honed by regularly taking part in workshops and counselling groups in Horley, Surrey, my local area. I believe that you can never learn enough about the human psyche.

My professional experience spans both the charity and public sectors; I have volunteered for the Samaritans, been a practice counsellor at a large and very busy GP surgery in Surrey, and worked with a council-backed victims and perpetrators of domestic violence group.

I now work exclusively with private clients, whether that be individuals, couples or families, who wish to successfully work through their problems whether that be abuse, loss, personal crisis, relationship issues, or anything else that makes day-to-day life a struggle.

I believe that saying it out loud is so often the first step. If you think I can help you or you have any questions please get in contact
